As a global leader in gynecologic minimally invasive surgery Lena El Hachem, MD returns to Beirut and offers her patients the most advanced approaches to treat both benign and malignant gynecologic conditions. These include both traditional laparoscopic and advanced robotic techniques.


Dr El Hachem is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lebanese American University in Beirut. She provides clinical services and teaches medical students and residents of obstetrics and gynecology the latest techniques. 

Dr El Hachem is highly skilled in Robotic and traditional laparoscopic surgical techniques. She has performed hundreds of laparoscopic minimally invasive or robotic procedures. 

She recently presented her research findings on Single-Site Robotic Surgery at the 2014 Annual Global Congress of the AAGL in Vancouver BC Canada.


Dr. Lena El Hachem also provides obstetrical care services as well as comprehensive gynecologic services for women. 

Dr. El Hachem completed her OB GYN residency at Roosevelt Hospital in New York. She then completed a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship and gynecologic oncology training at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Icahn School of Medicine in New York. 

She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
